Community Baby Shower - DATE CHANGE

Moms and families are welcome to attend the second Community Baby Shower to be held Thursday, March 23, from 10 am – 12 noon in St. Mary's parish hall. Hosted by the CAPA/PREPARES program, Shari DePaulo, perinatal educator, will return give a Baby 101 presentation at this event. Food, gifts, and basic baby supplies will be available as well as the PREPARES regular monthly diaper distribution. Our goal is to support a healthy pregnancy, healthy mom, and healthy environment for baby to thrive in a healthy family! PREPARES (Pregnancy and Parenting Support) is a response of the Catholic community providing families supportive services from pregnancy to age five, serving the vulnerable and promoting life throughout the Catholic Parishes of South Stevens County.  Twice monthly diaper distribution happen from 10-11:30 am on the second and third Thursday of each month at St. Mary of the Rosary in Chewelah. In addition to other activities such as community baby showers, which offer free items, support and parenting classes. We are blessed that this ministry continues to create relationships with other ministries and community organizations to help those in need.
